PSYCHEDELIC/PROGRESSIVE/FOLK

Wildfire
Smokin
2025 repress with new barcode. Powerful and melodic psychedelic hardrock by this US power trio. Recorded in Austin and originally released in 1971 as a private demo album. Originally formed in California in the late 60s, Wildfire consisted of Randy Love (guitar/vocals), Danny Jamison (bass/lead vocals) and Donny Martin (drums). For fans of Blue Cheer, Grand Funk Railroad, Demian and Cactus.

After Shave
Skin Deep (striped)
After Shave recorded in 1972 one of the most iconic '70s rock LPs out of Switzerland, now reissued for the first time in collaboration with the leader of the band, Pierre-Alain Kessi. This classic '70s LP was recorded in Bienne at Soundraft's studios on an eight-tracking recording deck, being a balanced mix between their heavy rock vein and their acoustic side, making what is one of the best Swiss '70s rock records. The album gathers some great heavy tracks like 'Ride, Ride, Ride,' 'Sweet Home,' 'Skin Deep,' 'Near The Sun' or the great 'Sunflower.' This reissue includes 2 extra tracks, 'One Of The Best,' first released on 7", and 'Greenage Man,' for first time on vinyl, being all tracks remastered to get the best quality possible. It includes an 8 page booklet with pictures of the band and their history, all written by Pierre-Alain Kessi. Edition of 200 copies on white/red/blue striped vinyl.

Wild Water
Restrict Life
Incredibly authentic hard seventies sounding acid rock, recorded between 1996 and 1999. Killer acid guitar rock from Switzerland. Limited to 220 copies on coloured vinyl.

Fertility Cult
A Song Of Anger
Founded in late 2008 and hailing from Tampere, Finland, the band has been noted for their unique sound and songwriting style ever since the release of their debut full length 'Eschatology' in 2010. The band have continued to perfect their sound to an "esoteric level" (Progarchives.com), with depths of doom and crests of heavy metal interspersed with psychedelic and jazzier forays laced with saxophone. "I love the way the band contrasts light and dark" (Apocalypse Later Music). Playing live only sporadically, The Fërtility Cült is known as an intense live act. The band returned to play the classic 'Dream Of Dr. Sardonicus Festival Of Psychedelia' in Cardigan, Wales for the second time in 2024. 'A Song Of Anger' is the most complete concept album the band has conceived. It's a thematic prequel to its predecessor 'Kosmodysseia,' which was dubbed "close to perfection" by Desibeli.net. The album is recorded predominantly live in the studio as has been the methodology with previous outings also. Many of the band's old friends feature as guests on the album: the band's original guitarist Arttu Kimmel (lead guitar on 'The Curse Of The Atreides'), Antti Loponen (lead guitar on 'Fame Everlasting') of Consciousness Removal Project, Minttu Tervaharju (lead vocals on 'Briseis,' backup vocals on 'A Song Of Anger'), formerly of Ochre Room, who did backup vocals for the debut album, Markus Pajakkala (soprano saxophone on 'A Song Of Anger') of Utopianisti and recently Von Herzen Brothers, as well as Pete Bingham (spoken word on 'A Song Of Anger') of Sendelica.

Trance Dimensionals Feat. Nik Turner
Space Angels
The Trance Dimensionals band was formed by English musician Steve Hillman in 2016. Steve had been making electronic sounds with his audio generator since the early 1970s, when as a teenager he was influenced by Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind and Gong. In the 1980s, as a keyboard player and guitarist, he was part of the then underground electronic music scene in the UK and in the 1990s he was signed to the progressive rock music label Cyclops Records who released four albums of his prog and space rock instrumental music. In 2016 Steve met with the legendary Nik Turner, a founder member of the space rock group Hawkwind, and they discussed working on an album together. This is the second album of the Trance Dimensionals, but sadly Nik Turner passed away during the making of this album. Featuring Dave Anderson (Hawkwind, Amon Düül II), Angel Flame (The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown) and Mr. Dibs (Spacehead, Krel).

Fungus Family
La Morte Del Sole
'La Morte Del Sole' by Fungus Family marks the beginning of a new course after the historic trilogy. The great novelty is represented by the singing in Italian and by a general hardening of the sound. 'La Morte Del Sole' is the new way through which the evolutions of the Fungus Family want to accompany the listener: a new journey, where the lyrics, imbued with existentialism, show us a new way for the band to communicate, managing to combine Italian metrics and psychedelic atmospheres... the sound is harder and the words come clear and evoke images that cannot go unnoticed by the listener. Emancipating their prog-like attitude towards music, they dare and provoke, managing to amaze once again with an album that can be considered the most beautiful and mature in their over twenty-year history. On the album, moreover, great guests at the keyboards such as Fabio Cuomo and Agostino Macor.

Melting Clock
Altrove
"Melting Clock is a musical project born in the Faculty of Physics, University of Genoa, in 2001. At the time the group's aim, which brought together experienced musicians and beginners, was sheer amusement and musical growth, pursued through the covering of songs by more and less known bands of the progressive rock scene. Over the years the pieces studied have influenced Melting Clock's sound: much attention has been paid to some of the most interesting contemporary bands such as Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Opeth, Ayreon, without however neglecting milestones that have made the history of the progressive genre like Pink Floyd, Genesis and PFM. Melting Clock have undergone many line up changes: alongside the four founding members Sandro Amadei (keyboards and vocals), Stefano Amadei (guitars), Alessandro Bosca (bass guitar) and Francesco Fiorito (drums), Simone Caffè (guitars) and Emanuela Vedana (vocals) more recently joined the band. The skills acquired and the renewed enthusiasm led to the decision to devote to the composing of original music. Melting Clock's style is characterized by evocative and powerful sounds, which aim at immediately capturing the listener - without giving up elements of complexity - and conveying a strong emotional charge. Lyrics are in our mother tongue, Italian. We fully follow the spirit of progressive music in our free approach to writing and interest in contamination from the most diverse genres."

Black Pie
Angels
This band formed in 2023 in order to revive classic rock songs, giving them a contemporary feel with an innovative sound led by female vocals, a repertoire that saw them on tour in the summer of 2023. As the tour ended, Black Pie began to experiment in the studio: 'Angels,' their first original album came to life in a natural rush, a flow, an evolution of their individual compositional perspectives. Produced by the esteemed label Black Widow and united by a magical moment, the band created 10 tracks that are closely linked by a concept, but also work as stand alone tracks. The contemporary sound is unmistakable: pure rock with the daring nuances of their musical inspirations and influences... The bands that inspired this "fusion" are mainly Led Zeppelin, Rush, Kansas and Porcupine Tree.

The debut album, 'The Eightfold Path,' not only soared to number 4 on the Doom Charts (2023) but also cemented Williamson's reputation as a visionary in sonic artistry. With a second album on the horizon, fans can expect an immersive journey into transcendent riffs, kaleidoscopic atmospheres, and boundless auditory adventures. GARAGE/BEAT/SURF/ROCK’N’ROLL

Taylor, James -quartet-
Only Messin' Ep
James Taylor has been writing/recording albums and touring for the past 43 years, starting with The Prisoners and then The James Taylor Quartet (JTQ) from 1986 onwards, to great acclaim. In that time he has done several world tours and gained UK Top 40 Chart hits, notably with the late great soul singer Noel McKoy. He has also written and recorded a whole plethora of albums, often coming from a broad musical perspective. Ranging from funk to jazz to soul to rock and even choral projects, of late incorporating a full orchestra into many recordings and even transferring this onto the stage successfully at The Barbican, The Alexandra Palace and The Cadogan Hall, amongst other classical venues. Taylor was the pioneering force that spear-headed the Acid Jazz movement in the '90s, which saw a renaissance in live music. He has also virtually single-handedly driven the rediscovery of the Hammond organ, his trademark keyboard. He has developed his composition and arrangement skills and with these has recorded over 20 library albums. The current live line-up for The James Taylor Quartet is James Taylor (keyboards and orchestration), Mark Cox (guitar), Andrew McKinney (bass) and Pat Illingworth (drums), although recordings and live performances may include others. The band have developed a strong reputation as a live band, that remains to this day. The most recent of the library albums include the four tracks on this very EP, which feature Taylor's innovative horn arrangement skills, placing JB style horns over a funk groove, but in this case he had the novel idea of incorporating two guitars; one funky, one rocky. Sort of James Brown meets The Rolling Stones, and the result can be heard on this slab of vinyl. Limited to 300 copies.

Hipbone Slim & The Kneejerks
Get A Move On!
The Kneejerks' 3rd album and their absolute best so far! All killer garage beat surf rockin' blasts! This release features 16 toppermost tunes including 15 original compositions written by their prolific band leader Sir Bald (whose music has featured in 'Stranger Things' and more) plus one jaw dropping cover version! The album kicks off with said cover, a ferocious butt kickin' rendition of Gene Vincent's later era classic 'Bird Doggin'.' The perfect song for the guys to take on! The tracks then continue to wind across all rough, ready rockin'n'punkin' styles from late '50s rock'n'roll and R'n'B through '60s beat, surf and garage, '70s punk and '80s Medway sounds. This shouldn't be surprising given drummer Bruce's background (Milkshakes, Headcoats not to mention two albums with Link Wray!). Along the way the 'Jerks' deliver all manner of the rawest rhythm'n'beat nuggets from monstrous Link Wray-influenced rippers ('Evil Kneevil,' Loggerheads'), through wild and woolly organ and fuzz driven 'Back From The Grave'-garage punkers ('When Push Comes To Shove' and 'What Did You Say') to drunken frat-rock party anthems ('I Want It All' and 'Make ItAalright'). There's also the raw 'Bo' meets 'Wolf' tinged harp wailin' R'n'B stomper 'Hell And Higtide,' the super slinky and moody Johnny Kidd-esque 'I Hear An Echo' plus the primal '64' Really Got Me'/'All Day And Night' Kinks riffin' 'Won't Let You Down.' There's of course a couple of out and out totally dance floor friendly twist'n'jivin' rockers like 'Get A Move On!' and 'Rocket Fuel' to get your party started! You even get Baldie's finest and wildest ever Dick Dale meets Eddie & The Showmen reverb dripping surf instro blaster, the totally wigged out 'Revelino' to boot! Not content with bass, keyboard and backing vocals duties the multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist Pete Scoundrel of Thee Cybermen fame also weighs in on bonus lead vocals on the exotic 'Catania'! A must for any fans of all things raw and proper rhythm, beat, surf, garage, rock'n'roll! All recorded at Gizzard vintage analogue studio in London for a proper sound. Undoubtedly Hipbone Slim aka Sir Bald's finest album yet! Everyone a scorcher!

Kilfeather
Etcetera
Kilfeather's 2025 full-length album, 'Etcetera', is a sonic adventure through the realms of heavy alternative rock, punctuated with touches of psychedelia, garage, punk and pop. The album serves as an introduction to the band's authentic rock sound that has been honed to near freakish perfection over the years. The record features the electrifying debut of a new three-piece line-up featuring K. Kilfeather on vocals and guitar, Carlos Lopez on drums and Cal Martinez on bass.
POP/ROCK/WAVE/NOISE

Proper
Meant To Say Something
Proper formed in London, England in March 2015 with the aim of producing timeless 3 minute pop songs, with a nod to the past pop masters of the mid '60s and the late '70s in particular. Guitarist and vocalist Ivano Bonfanti came to London from Milan with just a suitcase and a Rickenbacker guitar in the early 1990s, within a year he joined The Direction, a hard gigging mod revival band who he'd been following as a fan. Len Fleckney has played drums with many bands over the years, most notably with legendary mod revival group Long Tall Shorty and previously Eleanor Rigby (also Canadian band The Crescent Heights). Jez Payne and Joe Duggan make up the rest of Proper, on bass and guitar respectively. Proper's debut gig was at the iconic 100 Club, supporting The Scene and they've since gone on to build up a loyal live following and have taken their sound further afield. Having worked alongside legendary sound engineer Pat Collier, and Tony Morrison (Long Tall Shorty), their debut album was released in 2017. Back with Pat Collier, this time with Brett 'Buddy' Ascott (The Chords, The Fallen Leaves, etc) on producer duties, Proper locked themselves in Perry Vale Studios until they made eleven sure fire power popped hits, now collected on this very album. Limited to 300 copies on vinyl.

Drank
Breath In Definition
Ingrid Schmoliner and Alex Kranabetter are pillars of the improvised and experimental music scenes in Austria stretching back more than a decade. Although the former is known primarily as a pianist and vocalist and the latter as a trumpeter, they both possess seriously expansive sonic palettes. Schmolinger works rigorously with sound direction to generate vibrant psychoacoustic and spatialized effects, while Kranabetter routinely deploys electronics to radically transform and expand his sound worlds in solo and collaborative settings. Perhaps no single endeavor captures the full splendor of their aesthetic tendencies like their duo Drank, which now released its stellar debut recording 'Breath In Definition' on Trost. The album includes guest appearances by the remarkably versatile drummer Lukas König and Anja Franziska Plaschg (aka Soap&Skin). Ingrid Schmoliner - prepared piano, Alex Kranabetter - trumpet, electronics.
METAL/STONER/HARDROCK

Northwinds
Circles (demos Et Merveilles)
The latest chapter in the wonderful story of the Northwinds after the untimely passing of Sylvain Auvé, leader, author, composer, singer and drummer. 'Circles' was the album he was working on, some versions are still "demo" and it is an album that has a special flavour.

Neil Anderson A-go-go (+cd)
In an era wheremusic production often leans ondigital pre-sets, resultingin an overly polished, almost sterile sound, NeilAnderson offersa refreshing alternative with his commitment to authenticity. As the founder of Original GravityRecords(2017),Anderson doesn't just produce tracks; he crafts time machines that transport listeners to the golden age of soul, funk, andreggae.Hisapproach isrefreshingly organic, often laying down drum tracks with a singlemicrophone to capturetheraw, unfilteredessenceof the sound. This minimalist technique isn't about cutting corners; it's a deliberate choice to embrace the imperfections thatgive vintagerecordings their character. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Andersonoften playsup to 80% of the instrumentson his recordings, but he's initially a drummer. From the deep grooves of the bass and drumsto the rhythmic strumming of the guitar, and even the occasional lead vocals,Anderson immerses himself fullyin his creations. This hands-on approach allows him toinfuse eachtrack with his unique touch, ensuring a cohesive and authenticsound across hisfavourite genres - ska, early reggae, blues, R&B, funk, Latin, boogalooand'60s mod beat. The result? New music that feels like a long-lost classic, ready to berediscovered ona dusty vinyl.
