Repress on black vinyl. Günther Schickert recorded his amazing self-released LP 'Samtvogel' in 1974. Despite the limited availability of equipment, the music he recorded touches the human heart and soul. 'Samtvogel' will appeal to fans of kraut innovators such as Ash Ra Tempel, Manuel Göttsching or A.R. Machines. Some of the vocal passages may remind one of Damo Suzuki during Can's 'Tago-Mago'-era. The LP is housed in a quality sleeve with reproduced artwork and includes a 4-page insert with liner notes and photos.

After two years in the making, Wyatt E. seals their long-awaited return in 2025 with the highly anticipated narrative sequel to 'Al Beluti Darû': 'Zamaru Ultu Qereb Ziqquratu Part 1' (Music from inside the Ziggurat). It is the first chapter of a set of 2 concept albums in which the band deepens its exploration of ancient Babylon with an almost mythical approach through the eyes of the exiled captives from Jerusalem. Featuring contributions from 7 international collaborators, 'Zamaru Ultu Qereb Ziqquratu' is poised to become one of the most ambitious projects in the doom scene in terms of production and conception and it is released by the finest label in the genre: Heavy Psych Sounds. The album pushes sonic boundaries by featuring two drummers recorded simultaneously, creating the immersive effect of distant crowds. An eclectic mix of instruments, including the saz, viola, sitar, and bugle, blend with both analog and digital elements to enrich the soundscape. A nod to Turkish composer Fazil Say is also present, with a quotation from his symphony 'Mesopotamia.' For the first time, two vocal tracks appear alongside the instrumental pieces. Iranian singer Nina Saiedi lends her ethereal voice to 'The Diviner's Prayer To The Gods Of The Night,' sung in Akkadian, while Jerusalem's choir conductor Tomer Damsky delivers a captivating performance of 'Im Lelya' in Aramaic adding a deep vocal layer to the album. The final mix, crafted by renowned producer Tim De Gieter, known for his work with Amenra, Brutus, and Absent In Body, brings everything together with a masterful touch.

With 'Exile To Beyn Neharot,' Wyatt E. created the soundtrack of the people of the city of Jerusalem who were sent in exile to Babylon by King Nebuchadnezzar II after the siege of the city in 587 BC. The album is divided into 2 parts: one devoted to the emperor and his military campaign that led to the exile, the other to an allegiance, real or otherwise, to the goddess Ishtar. The record is the first real album of the band ('Mount Sinai/Aswan' being an EP) and marks the band's debut on the doom/drone scene. It was first released by Jerusalem's label Shalosh Cult.

'Mount Sinai/Aswan' was the first attempt of Wyatt E. to write the soundscape of a journey in the past which leads to ancient Gods, forgotten cities and lost civilisations. This first record is in a more phantasmagorical vein. It re-imagines an escape to Egypt that stopped at the banks of the Upper Nile. It was originally released in May 2015 and has only been performed live a handful of times.

And Soon The Darkness

Heronimus Fin are nothing less than a sustainably authentic, neo-psychedelic/prog combo. Formed in 1994, and hailing from Birmingham (UK), with 6 albums under their belt they are among the very few acts in the genre who have been acclaimed by both the mainstream and the underground press, made appearances in key venues and radio shows (e.g. London Astoria, BBC Radio, Channel 4 TV), and garnered a loyal fandom. But, above all else, they gained cult status when their album 'Bloodguilt' was banned from being released with the test-pressing selling for GBP 1500 via Discogs and thus featuring in their top 30 most expensive sales chart. Record Collector Magazine also picked up on the sale with a featured full overview of their collectible releases. Their 2024 album 'And Soon The Darkness' is a concept loosely based on Pandora's Box/The Book of Revelation (Seals). CD is a "Vinyl Groove" replica with custom label. Issued in a matt finish stiff card replica vinyl gatefold sleeve. Includes lyric insert.

25 Ev Rock - A Nagykoncert

A true progressive rock gem from 1993. Mini, the legendary Hungarian prog rock band made a 25 Years Jubilee gig in Budapest, in March 1993 and it was recorded professionally. Nine great tracks played by almost all Mini members of their old 1968-1983 period (the band had a Renaissance period from 1998 on). The recording is now released for the first time. (The rehearsal recording from the town of Paks is already known and has been out on 2LP set earlier on Moiras Records). Digipack CD, limited to 500 copies.

Barren Room

White Clouds

Some will know this moment: suddenly everything is clear. When Lulu (Electric Moon) and Oli (ex-Urlaub in Polen) bump into each other at a concert in the legendary Vortex Surfer music club in Siegen, they both know that same evening: We are a band. They tell Falko, who has just destroyed the club with his instrumental post-metal band Sarkh. Just a few months later, the first songs were arranged during the first rehearsals - fragments of poetry and word play written by Oli, melodic lines and ideas that were taken up by the band and subsidized and refined on the respective instruments. The debut 'White Clouds' was created in less than a year - recorded, mixed and mastered in Falko's underground recording studio Institut Für Angewandten Krach. During that time, the band attends one of the last concerts of the wonderful noise post-math rock band Shellac in Amsterdam. All three are equally deeply impressed and moved by this show and incorporate Steve Albini's spirit into their debut, which they ultimately dedicated to him. Added to this is their very own drift - pain and hope, the unconditional will of rock'n'roll, depth and steep flight, highly dynamic, playful, hypnotic-driving passages and repeated melodies with resonance, as well as the connection between the three musicians, promise a debut and live concerts with a yeah factor.

Magick Potion is a hard hitting heavy rock trio channeling the raw energy and heavy grooves of the late '60s and early '70s. Clearly hooked on the likes of underrated groups such as Blue Cheer, The Amboy Dukes and Budgie, the band crafts a sound that fuses heavy rock's gritty riffs with contrasting moments boarding on psychedelia. With roaring guitars, thunderous drums and hard driving bass lines Magick Potion conjures a vibe that is both nostalgic yet contemporary and original. Their music is a bridge to an era where rock was rebellious, loud and unfiltered, yet they infuse it with a spirit all their own. Comes on coloured vinyl.

A fab compilation of the legendary Australian '60s band The Atlantics!! The Atlantics formed around in 1961 by Theo Penglis (guitars), Peter Hood (drums), Bosco Bosanac (bass) and Eddy Matzenik (guitars). After a short time Jim Skiathitis joined The Atlantics on guitars and Eddy Matzenik left the band. Their classic and well known song is the instrumental 'Bombora,' released in 1963 for CBS. The Atlantics continued recording and releasing albums and singles until 1965 when they set up their own label, JRA Producions. Theo Penglis quit guitars and switched to organ, as well Johnny Rebb joined the band on vocals. Johnny Rebb was a legendary rock'n'roll vocalist in Australia back in the late '50s, a Gentleman of Rock'n'Roll!! During that time The Atlantics recorded the legendary JRA/Ramrod sessions. Rumble Skunk Records proudly presents this ab-fab compilation titled 'It's A Hard Life,' gathering 14 brilliant songs, including stuff from their hard to find 7"s! It's time for The Atlantics rolling, fuzzin', trembling and shakin' the world, the way it should have happened back in the mid to late '60s! The songs included on this compilation were transferred from The Atlantics' archives by Martin Cilia and licensed officially by Jim Skiathitis and Bosco Bosanac for Rumble Skunk Records!

Hydes

Self Preservation Instinct Zero

The Hydes were formed around 1993 in Thessaloniki, Greece, inspired by Robert Lewis Stevenson, 'Shadows,' 'Too Late Blues,' 'Rocky Horror Picture Show,' supervised by Edward Hyde and influenced by the hottest stuff of rock'n'roll and bands like The Spades, The Stooges, MC5, The Real Kids, Radio Birdman, Dead Boys, The Only Ones, The Velvet Underground, The Modern Lovers, Johnny Thunders, The Pretty Things, The Outsiders, Q65, The Music Machine, The Droogs, The Lyres, The Chesterfield Kings, The Zakary Thaks, The Liberty Bell etc. Their first rock'n'roll strike was 'Big City' on a compilation tribute to The Pretty Things called 'Not So Pretty,' which came out in 1995 on Corduroy Records, followed by the EP 'Hard Lovin'' (1997, Swallow It All Records). Their 2nd 7" 'Out Tonite'/'Sun Won't Go Down' was released the same year via the cool Australian label Corduroy Records, as well in 1997 The Hydes were featuring with a great cover of The Only Ones ('Flaming Torch') through 'The Thing' CD-comp Vol. 20. Once again and via 'The Thing' CD-comp Vol. 201 (1998), The Hydes covered Martha & The Vandellas' '63 anthem 'Heatwave.' In 2002 saw the light of day a double LP compilation 'Standing In The Shadows (A Tribute To The Golden Days Of The Rolling Stones 1963-1967)' via Corduroy Records, The Hydes pay tribute to the Stones with an outstanding cover of 'Have You Seen Your Mother...' The first issue of Rumble Skunk 'zine came out in 2004 and The Hydes offered covers of 'Sour Wine' (Q65), plus The Master's Apprentices' 'Wars Or Hands Of Time'. Over the years the band gigged with cool Greek rock'n'roll bands, as well with Radio Birdman, The Cynics, The Electric Prunes, Terry Lee Hale etc. Debut album 'Self Preservation Instinct Zero' includes 13 original songs, recorded at their own studio (House Of Kicks), by Ghost between 2002-2006, mixed at Cue Productions by Ghost and Slim Chance and mastered at Cue by Yiannis Mavridis. Are we talking rock'n'roll here or what? A milestone!!!

Evergreen - Walk To Paradise Garden

For the return of Cosmic Eye Records they are proud to present Adam Cole's Trappist Afterland's 10th album; probably his most personal and intimate collection of acid folk tunes up to this day. During the winter rains in the hills just above the Adelaide plains, Adam Cole wrote this bitter-sweet collection of songs. The album was sketched out between visits to his mother, as she slowly deteriorated into dementia. Visiting her, Cole made the 1,600 km trip monthly to his hometown of Kiama, on the New South Wales South Coast of Australia. It's during these trips, his mother passing, the breakdown of his marriage, and his eventual return living there, that these songs took shape, making this album by Trappist Afterland a celebration of the bonds formed over lifetimes. Cole is very conscious of appreciating the present and seeks confirmation that communion with loved ones is something to be treasured, even though such moments are sometimes fleeting. The album also honors the idea that new green shoots can always be found, even during the most turbulent of times in one's lifetime. Storm

The Storm (black)

Probably the most astonishing hard rock LP out of 1970s Spain, repressed by popular demand. The Storm hailed from Sevilla and were acclaimed by both audience and press reviewers as one of the best rock bands from Spain. The combo was formed by the Ruiz Geniz brothers (Angel and Diego), on guitar and drums respectively, plus Luis Genil (organ) and José Torres (bass). Their debut album, originally released on Basf in 1974, is one of the crown jewels of Spanish hard rock, and changes hands for a small fortune among collectors all over the world, especially since its inclusion in Hans Pokora's 'Record Dreams' books. This LP really rocks. It's high energy hard rock that follows the line marked by the big organ outfits of the era such as Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster, Bram Stoker, Megaton... It has also a deep classic prog sound root, which reaches the top on 'Un Señor Llamado Fernández De Córdoba.' We are talking of one of the seminal Spanish hard rock LPs. Includes 8 page full colour booklet with liner notes and photos + obi.
