Polvos!
Floating (black)
The Polvos! is a psychedelic fuzz rock band. 'Floating' is their second album. "Spaced out heavy Chilean psych, some really nice textures and colours to be found here as well as plenty of grit and drive."
Cyril Cyril & Le Syndicat Du Futur
La Meteo/le Monde Embetant
In between two European concerts and some recording session, Cyril and Cyril took a break and used a tiny gap in their hectic schedule (both member of Yalla Miku, co-managing Bongo Joe Records for C. Yeterian and touring with La Tène and other projects for C. Bondi) to go the studio to record two atomic tracks with their children. They played a myriad of instruments, including typewriters and ping pong balls. Jeannot, Zoé, Marilou, Marlowe, and Lénaïs sang sharp and joyful manifesto-like texts to express how absurd and boring the adult world seems to them. The result is this brilliant 7".
Gods & Punks
Death (black)
Formed in the tropical city of Rio de Janeiro in 2013, Gods & Punks emerged as a beacon of sonic exploration, blending the heavy riffage of Black Sabbath with the intricate melodies of Rush. Founded by brothers Alexandre and Pedro Canhetti, their journey began with a shared passion for the cosmic resonance of stoner rock. Inspired by a Monster Magnet song, the band's name became a testament to their love of psychedelic music. 'Death' is a cathartic journey through frontman Alexandre's harrowing near-death experience in 2021. Recorded across continents between Santos and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Paris, France, 'Death' is a testament to the band's resilience and artistic evolution. 'Death' tells a narrative woven through seven tracks, spanning 40 minutes of intense musical exploration.
Las Historias
House Of Pain
The 'House Of Pain' release is a preview of the second studio album of Las Historias. "After a month in the jail, I was able to see the sun again and compose this rock and roll album." These demos were recorded and mixed by Tomas in Laboulaye, Argentina at The House of Pain in the summer of 2023. Recorded with only two sm57, except 'The Way I Am' and 'Nomad' which were recorded with only one mic because these were the last songs composed, they are the first takes! "After that I lost my guitar so I couldn't continue recording.. tragic story but I will get that beautiful stratocaster back!" Thanks to The House of Pain for making this possible!
Wheeldon, Nick -& Friends-
Make Art (2lp)
'Make Art' is Nick Wheeldon's 4th solo album. A masterful, imposing work. The project began with Julien Ledru, first heard by Nick at a concert he was organising at La Pointe Lafayette, Paris. A few demos were recorded on cassette, with Julien's guitar and Nick, who, as usual, already had several songs up his sleeve, singing. The whole thing started out in a more radical folk style, strongly guided by Julien's classy fingerpicking. The collaboration began with a track as beautiful as it is leaden, entitled 'No God No Master,' recorded on an 8-track tape recorder in a bedroom in Montreuil. As the demos piled up, they decided that maybe they could be more ambitious than originally thought with this album. Recorded, at first live, onto a Tascam MS-16 track, conditions were drastic and fast with Paul Trigoulet at the helm at Fausse Boutique Studios, Lille. The recording took less than a week with musiciens flying in from as far as Boston, USA, to sing on the record. The emotion was at full gallop as always. The violent free sax of Laurent Riguat and the abstract yet melodic violin of Thomas Carpentier began to distort and transform these simple folk songs into something more sinister. For Nick Wheeldon aficionados, there's the same characteristic: always the same flickering, bright light. The tracks follow one another: tunnels, dead ends, nocturnal drifts. Days in the sun, lost paths, dark roads, all engraved on 4 sides of vinyl. Sixteen tracks burst forth, leaving us no choice but to wander through all the eras of our short lives. The grim reaper, love, spring, lonely trees, betrayal, the cautious beginnings of a love story. Sometimes you can get lost in these Edgar Allan Poe-style stories. 'Make Art' offers a totally uninhibited and varied playground, where free jazz and soul dance together. Mixtures hitherto unknown to Nick Wheeldon. With 'Make Art,' you're in the middle of a psychedelic-folk funfair. The musical avenues open to Nick Wheeldon widen and are likely to sweep away even the slowest and most resistant of you.
GARAGE/BEAT/SURF/ROCK’N’ROLL
Budget Boozers
Love You, Hate You

Beatpack
The Violet Hour
The Beatpack formed in order to play the kind of wild teenage rock'n'roll, '60s garage punk, rhythm & blues and raw blues that all members grew up on. The band have been around in various shapes and forms for thirty years now, albeit with a two-decade break in the middle. First time around, they recorded a 7" EP in 1989 (produced by Billy Childish), followed by another 7" in '90, then their debut LP in '91, all on German label Screaming Apple. They also played with Manic Street Preachers, along with The Thanes, The Aardvarks and more, and then vanished in a puff of smoke, only resurfacing in 2012. Tours of France, Spain and Germany happened, along with many gigs in the UK too. Since their return, two more 7"s and one 7" EP were released through State Records, followed by a 7" EP with Heavy Soul Records, and thirty-one years since their debut long player, the long-awaited second album 'All Good Things (Turn To Dust)' was released on Spinout Nuggets in 2022, to much praise. The group recently returned to record at Gizzard Studios, with raw, punchy 2-3 minute 'hits.' Limited to 500 copies.
Veras
Get It While You Can
The Veras are four fellas making music inspired by all the great music from the '50s right up to about 5 minutes ago. Their first release sprung in early 2020 (just before the mayhem), and they have since released a further four physical singles and their debut album. The last single was a marvellous cover of The Action's 'Something To Say,' recorded by Morgan Nicholls, former bass-player of late '80s/early '90s indie-pop big hitters The Senseless Things and who has gone on to work with Muse, Gorillaz, Lily Allen and The Who. Morgan engineered and produced the track and created the accompanying video for the song. Morgan is the son of Billy Nicholls, a solo artist on Andrew Loog Oldham's trailblazing Immediate Records label in the '60s. Although there was no plan for it to turn out the way it did, 'Get It While You Can' has turned into a story of the best of (and worst of) the last 18 months. Covering (quite loosely at times) greed, consumerism, human rights, throw-away culture and the slow death-spiral that is the environment. But it's definitely not all doom and gloom as there's pop tunes a-plenty and the overall feeling is buoyant and positive. More songs this time around have been self recorded, which has seen The Veras sound progress since their 'V For Veras' debut album. 'Get It While You Can' is rounded off with an extended version of The Action's 'Something To Say,' as mentioned earlier, which gained much approval from The Action's drummer Roger Powell. Limited to 250 copies on vinyl (with printed inner sleeve).
Cheater Slicks
I Am Low/rock And Roll
Cheater Slicks is back with the first release on their own label Morbid Web Records. The single's main side 'I Am Low' is a crude pounder in the long tradition of Cheater Slicks, but has the addition of wild alto sax solos by Bobb Hatt. The lyrics are from a poem by Phil Milstein, who started the Velvet Underground Appreciation Society back in the early '80s. On the flipside is a Bo Diddley song done in Slicks style with lots of fuzz guitar, and bass by James Arthur (Fireworks, Necessary Evils, Manhunt) and piano by Will Foster. Cheater Slicks are known for doing strong 7" releases, and this one, 37 years through their story, might top them all! Get it while you can and don't miss out on this fantastic new single! Limited pressing of 500.
POP/ROCK/WAVE/NOISE
Templo Diez
Sunland
The long-awaited seventh album the Dutch/French/Italian band Templo Diez, titled after a Californian ghost town. The start of a new album trilogy, the album takes the listener on a journey along 9 songs in the introspective and cinematic style characteristic of the band. Inspired by ghost towns along the US Pacific states and mostly written during the pandemic, 'Sunland' embarks the band on a new voyage across a mythical America, exploring further themes of loss, loneliness, hope and redemption. Back to their original trio configuration, this seventh album (and start of a third trilogy!) marks a renewed creativity for the band. At the crossing between Americana, slowcore and indie rock, Templo Diez' music draws its inspiration from travels, landscapes, from true stories and dreamt memories, from movies, films, novels, poetry, as on previous releases, each song could be experienced as a short movie soundtrack. On 'Sunland,' in typical Templo Diez fashion, each track is also a short story, an emotional study of the song characters, with their fears, wounds and motivations. The resulting tracks are a kaleidoscopic ensemble alternating personal and introspective themes with gothic impressions of an America born of fever dreams and cheap late night TV in deserted motels.
PUNK/HARDCORE
Bators, Stiv
Disconnected
Originally released in 1980, Stiv Bators' first solo effort. As we all know, Mr. Bators was the man who destroyed Rocket From The Tombs, from which he hijacked half the members to found one of the most influential American punk bands to have existed, The Dead Boys. Stiv has turned in his broken teeth for a more power pop oriented solo career. This is not an album recorded by a has-been former punk idealist; instead its a true step forward into another unknown arena packing all the glare and attitude that remained from the last.
Dahmer Duck
Weaponized Waterfoil
Blast beats galore! Sublime grindcore mayhem with Donald Duck styled vocals (WE SHIT YOU NOT)! This one's for the freaks but it's an ABSOLUTE grinding/all core masterpiece. Luv it or hate it.

Butzmann, Frieder/diamanda Galas
Juhrop (2lp Box)
'SZENE UND ARIEN AUS EINER OPER IN KLINGONISCHER SPRACHE' - The opera 'juHrop' was recorded with great effort at the Studio für Komische Musik Berlin and at the studio of Diamanda Galas in New York from 1996 to 2001. It is orchestral music produced with electronic devices and voices of Chinese singer Wu Jiang, David Moss, Diamanda Galas, Udo Scheuerpflug, Margarete Huber and the Moabiter Motettenchor. It was broadcasted in full length on 'Deutschlandradio Kultur' in 2009. "The Klingons are martial bullheads. They are known as the warlike people from the planet Thlingan from the TV series 'Star Trek.' But the Klingons also love music and poetry. Their greatest poet was Shakespeare from Earth, who was supposedly one of their own. The Klingon opera 'juHrop' (pronounced tschuch-rop, meaning homesickness) plays unrestrainedly with timpani and trumpets on a heroic monumental orchestra, enriched by synthetic Gregorian chants and electronic hi- and lofi effects. The story is as bloodthirsty and heartbreaking as its setting. The vocals are Klingon and Chinese." (Frieder Butzmann). Limited and numbered edition of 250 copies. Comes in special die-cut box with 5 inlays and extensive booklet with the complete Klingon/Chinese text and translations into German and English.

Limited to 500 copies on transparant purple in bone colour in colour vinyl.
Lowen
Do Not Go To War With The Demons Of Mazandaran
Sophomore album by London-based world doom visionaries Lowen. Co-release with Church Road Records (UK). Lyrically, the album draws from fables of the 'Shahnameh' (the Persian Book of Kings). Particularly, it warns against the folly of empire expansion despite their own people's resistance, with specific reference to the demons of Mazandaran. This criticism is especially reflected in the tracks 'Corruption On Earth' and 'Waging War Against God,' inspired by the death sentences placed on protesting women in Iran during the Woman Life Freedom movement of 2022. The cover art was created by the renown oil painter Hervé Scott Flament. Track 2 features Farsi and Sumerian lyrics, track 3 is entirely sung in Farsi, and track 6 contains a NeoBabylonion ghost summoning incantation. Track 5 contains a guest cello performance by Arianna Mahsayeh. Limited to 250 copies on heavyweight white in transparent blue vinyl.

Dance With The Dead
The Shape
Neuropa Records is proud to present Dance With The Dead's 'The Shape' on CD format once again. One of the leading lights of the ever-burgeoning synthwave movement, Los Angeles' Dance With The Dead originally self-released 'The Shape' - their third album overall - in 2016, but Neuropa stepped in the following year to release it both on vinyl and CD formats. As the label stated early on (and why Neuropa has continued to work with these legends-in-the-making), Dance With The Dead succeed where so many fail: they display a unique blend of dark electro, heavy metal, and nostalgic '80s-inspired synthwave that keeps you tied to your chair. Indeed, 'The Shape' was - and still is - a spellbinding record, pounding and pulsing across the dancefloor with darkest desire but equally instilling an ever-present sense of dread. It teases, in a sense, weaving come-hither synth-lines that soon transform into nuclear-powered beasts of energy, thus making the album both approachable and pulverizing. Despite this abundance of hard-hitting heft, 'The Shape' still unfolds like a horror-movie score, arguably encapsulating everything magickal about Dance With The Dead in its most concise form. Back in print, for very good reason!
Dance With The Dead
The B-sides Volume 1
Dance With The Dead's 'The B-Sides Volume 1' on CD format. One of the leading lights of the ever-burgeoning synthwave movement, Los Angeles' Dance With The Dead made their full-length debut in 2013 with the now-classic 'Out Of Body' and followed it with four more full-lengths, each one expanding the duo's sonic lexicon - and expanding their fanbase in the process. Along the way, they released the 'The B-Sides Volume 1' collection, first as a self-release in 2017 and then through Neuropa on 2LP vinyl a year later. Yet, this is a unique "collection," for it neither comprises B-sides nor collects songs from other releases; rather, it is a full-length standalone recording that features a wide panoply of Dance With The Dead's dark magick. From neon-lit metallics to stained-glass serenity, chugging floor-stompers to nostalgic reveries, 'The B-Sides Volume 1' simply proves that the band can entrance and engage no matter the song dynamic they're employing. If anything, these 'B-Sides' could each be HITS! Open up Volume 1 on CD format for the first time ever.
Dance With The Dead
Out Of Body (10th Anniversary)
A redux remaster of Dance With The Dead's 'Out Of Body' on CD format. One of the leading lights of the ever-burgeoning synthwave movement, Los Angeles' Dance With The Dead made their full-length debut in 2013 with the now-classic 'Out Of Body.' The album featured all the hallmarks of synthwave - percolating melodies, pulsating bass, and deft & dramatic shifts in texture, always with electric energy and piston-precise propulsion - but the unique factor is the duo's metal background, which manifests itself in the haunting horror-movie feel of many/most of the album's tracks. That sensation unfolds as the album pulses onward, indeed making 'Out Of Body' feel like the soundtrack to a movie that never was (or yet is). Further capitalizing on that metal background, Dance With The Dead occasionally pepper their compositions here with guitar-god solos, not so much making the album "metal" per se as driving the point home that their synthwave is authentically '80s-rooted. A decade later, the duo decided to give 'Out Of Body' the remixed and remastered treatment, polishing the soundfield to gleaming chrome whilst punching up the low-end to deeper, dancier levels. Get 'Out Of Body' once again, or for the first time!
Dance With The Dead
Near Dark
This album is a high-octane fusion of dark synthwave, rock, and metal, designed to take you on a cinematic journey through the shadows of a neon-lit night. With its powerful basslines, shredding guitar riffs, and haunting melodies, 'Near Dark' captures the essence of '80s horror and sci-fi soundtracks while infusing it with a modern, adrenaline-fueled edge.
Purzum
Filosofeline
Comfy synth for "purrists" bringing gentle melodies to glide through a sunny day. Besides the obvious wordplay on one of the most iconic black metal bands in history, Purzum's 'Filosofeline' is just a super solid comfy synth record that is needed in any comfy synth enthousiast's collection.
SOUNDTRACKS/LOUNGE/CULT ETC
Daniel Deluxe
Ghostrunner
Daniel Deluxe's 'Ghostrunner' original soundtrack on CD format. For over a decade now, Daniel Deluxe has been a prolific force in the synthwave scene, especially focusing on the "outrun" subgenre where '80s sci-fi takes a noir turn. Across his work, he's exhibited a flair for cyberpunk, so it's no surprise that Deluxe has provided soundtracks for a number of video games. Of them, 2020's 'Ghostrunner' is perhaps his apex. Across its sprawling 20-track landscape, Deluxe explores atmospheres equal parts mysterious and murderous, with beats evaporating and kickstarting with sublime drama; everything feels tangible and indeed ghostly simultaneously. 'Ghostrunner' as a whole weaves a heady, heavy spell; while there are "hits" across that landscape, it's the totality of that sonic experience that makes the soundstrack such an engaging, idiosyncratic experience. With nods to the classic French electro on which he was raised as well as forerunners John Carpenter and Hans Zimmer, Daniel Deluxe's 'Ghostrunner' is truly titled! Includes 6 bonus tracks.
