6hunesseq
Ma Olen Maa Peal Vooras
In the music of 6hunesseq, the rich world of folk chorales meets the pipe organ and the archaic sounds of the talharpa and the violin. The latter two instruments are often used in traditional Estonian dance music. The interplay of these different sounds and timbres creates a meditative yet powerful soundscape. 6hunesseq revive an almost forgotten style of traditional Estonian music. On their album 'Ma Olen Maa Peal Vooras' ("As a guest on earth I wander"), the musicians bring not only folk chorales but also the Runo style into the present day. Runo music is a more than 2000 years old musical style, containing mythical and meditative elements.
Deep Space Destructors
Voyage To Innerspace (black)
DSD was founded in the beginning of the Earth year 2011 in Oulu, Finland, on band members' mutual love for '60s and '70s kraut, prog and psychedelic rock. This is the 6th full length album (4th on Space Rock Productions) by the Finnish space rock masters from the north! It features 6 high energy space rockers, originally released digitally in April 2023 but now it appears on vinyl. It features several special guests including Dr Space from Oresund Space Collective. The album opens with the high energy track 'Spaced And Confused,' with the classic DSD sound and vibe. 'Beyond The Cosmic Wall' has a bit of a Kingston Wall vibe and quite a psychedelic mix. 'Void Oscillations' is a very spacey and floating number. 'Indigo Blue' starts side B with a more mellow vibe for the first 3 minutes and then rocks into a cool spaced out jam. 'Matkalainen' is sung in Finnish and features some nice flute playing on this great track. The album ends with 'Nymphaea Tetragona (Forever Floating),' a more relaxed track, but the end has this sort of heavy bluesy stoner vibe. Cool way to end the album. Another classic space rock record! Limited to 148 copies on black vinyl.
Stonerhenge
Gemini Twins
The material for 'Gemini Twins' was created in the summer of 2022 and finished in 2023. Serge: "I am interested in the themes of Man, his place in the Universe. From primitive times to the era of space exploration, people continue to ask themselves eternal questions: Who am I? Where am I from? Where am I going? The character of 'The Story Of Captain Glosster' is a slightly modified version of Homer's Odysseus. This is the image of the End of the Wanderings. But Odysseus, after long wanderings, returned to his beloved woman. On the contrary, Captain Glosster found his love as a result of his trips. Found her in Other Worlds. I don't use science fiction images because that's how it's supposed to be according to the laws of the genre. It would be too primitive and not interesting. The composition 'Time Loop' is not a reference to some kind of science fiction. In my composition, the image of the Time Loop is an image of human life. Life is rhythmic, irreversible. Under any given circumstances, we do not have the ability to press 'Ctrl+Z.' We can only move forward. 'Solstice' is inspired by the feeling of a calm, soft summer day. When all thoughts are stable, there is no anxiety and the world around you looks amazing through the haze of sun rays and summer smells. I tried to convey this state in my track. 'Over The Mountains' could, of course, be an image from science fiction. But not necessarily. This is the feeling of flying over the mountains. Perhaps on another planet. Or maybe not. This is a feeling of triumph from conquering air. 'Fugit Irreparabile Tempus' is my musical reflections on our world and the place of Man in this world." Serge "Skrypa" Skrypnicenka - guitars, bass, synthesizers and operations with EZ Drummer (advanced drum soft), artwork and layout. Limited to 100 handnumbered copies in 4-sided digisleeve.
Crypt Witch
Bad Trip Exorcism
Reossie of 2019 debut album of the German one-man band Crypt Witch. In a dark crypt, at the bloody altar, with the shimmering candles, one priest performs an exorcism rite. With the help of a magic spell book written in the blood, supported by a large portion of marijuana and a huge guitar in his hands, he expels the spirits tormenting the people. Hypnotizing drums are put into trance, revealing the darkest corners of the subconscious. At their call, evil spirits are led and climb out of their caves. They can not resist the weight of the guitar and disappear in its slow and heavy sound. And if you are harassed by evil spirits, it is time to listen to the album 'Bad Trip Exorcism' and to conduct your own exorcism. Limited to 150 copies on transparent skunk green vinyl with psychelic hot pink splatter.
Back Jack
Back Jack (black)
Over the course of a couple of years in the mid-1970s, several musicians from the St. Louis, Missouri area gave notice to club and festival crowds that they were there to rock the house down. Their cover and original songs were accentuated by a bedrock rhythm section, heavy guitar riffs and tasty solos, topped off with powerful vocals. Rockers that witnessed them agree - Back Jack created solid songs and high-energy performances. Beginning in 1971 as Trellis, the band members changed their name to Back Jack when they saw the bumper sticker that Kim McKinney's dad, Jack McKinney, distributed during his election bid for the Mayor of Pacific, Missouri, home of the core 3-piece band: Kim McKinney, Mike Collier, and Hans Myers (RIP). The 1974 version of Back Jack was active from very early 1974 to late-fall of 1974. The core 3-piece band, Collier, McKinney, and Myers, recorded several tracks during their tenure and four of those tracks are included on this LP. Temporary band members not on the LP recordings were Gary Reed (piano, RIP), Greg Witt (guitar, keyboards), Paul Cockrum (guitar), and Bill Niehoff (drums). Some of Back Jack's most notable gigs were as an opening act for the following artists: Blue Oyster Cult in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 29, 1974 and Trapeze in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 31, 1974. The 4-piece, 1975 version of Back Jack was a merging of members of Back Jack 1974 (Mike Collier and Kim McKinney) and another local band, Osage Lute (Jeff Ballew and Mike Lusher). They were active from late-fall of 1974 to late-summer of 1975. Four of the tracks on the Back Jack LP were recorded by these four musicians. Some of their most notable gigs were as an opening act for the following artists: James Gang (w/Domenic Troiano), and Flash Cadillac & The Continental Kids at the Omaha Civic Arena in February of 1975, Charlie Daniels and Rush at the KSHE Kite Fly in St. Louis, Missouri on April 13, 1975, Flock at the Youth Expo in St. Louis, Missouri, also on April 13, 1975, Ted Nugent and Canned Heat at the Arnold, Missouri, Ice Rink on April 26, 1975, D. Blackfoot at the Sullivan, Missouri Raceway on June 29, 1975 and D. Blackfoot at the Stonehenge club in Lebanon, Illinois in late summer, 1975. NOTE: This was Back Jack's last gig and they disbanded afterwards.
Ananda Mida
Live At Duna Jam (black)
"On Tuesday, June 20, 2023, we had the pleasure of playing a live concert for the audience of Duna Jam while the sun was setting on the beach and heat waves and sandstorms were rising from the Sahara in the west. It was an unforgettable concert for us, which had a profound emotional impact, as the situation and the atmosphere "crystallized" in their own space-time, so to speak. Thank you." ~Ananda Mida
Roger
A Cold Day In December/flower Child
Original copies of the very first Gear Fab release from 1987! The Gear Fab label is one of America's preeminent reissue labels of rare psychedelic music. But before it became exclusively a reissue label, Roger Maglio had started the label as a solo vehicle for his personal brand of neo psychedelia. At this point in Roger's life, he was working in Denver for the aerospace industry, and was playing music on the side. The songs here are dedicated to the memory of John Lennon, so that gives you a guidepost of the music found within. Maglio plays all the instruments, and the keyboards are 1980s sounding all the way, including the drum machine found on side 1. Side 2 is more towards folk psych.

Muslimgauze
Hammer & Sickle
Bryn Jones' work was justly known for its excess -of tracks created, of rhetoric, of volume levels, of repetition, of length- and the sometimes indiscriminate way he produced material as Muslimgauze carried over into his approach to the part of the business that involved getting people to actually hear his music. Known for the deluge of DATs he'd share with the labels he worked with, Jones also didn't necessarily restrict himself to just one outlet. Very early in his career, in the same year the first two Muslimgauze LPs came out (1983), Jones released an obscure 7" single with completely blank black sleeve art on a label called Hessian. 'Hammer & Sickle' is to date the only release on Hessian (which may have just been Jones himself?). Those two LPs, 'Kabul' and 'Opaques,' are fascinating in the context of the full swath of Jones' work. They're much spacier, more drifting, and notably less interested in using the kind of Middle Eastern percussion and other instrumentation that's such a distinct element on many Muslimgauze releases. 'Hammer & Sickle' operates in a similar territory, but if anything a little further out from the main body of Jones' work. The side-long title track and the three b-sides here are all cut from the same cloth, spacious productions that mainly play rounded synth percussion against echoing, 'bag of wire'-style dub hits. After the lengthy examination of 'Hammer & Sickle' itself, the other three cuts experiment with altering pitch, duration, tempo, and other elements as if testing the ways Jones could vary the effects of the title track without ever ditching its component parts. His sound was already quickly evolving (even the next year's 'Buddhist On Fire' is closer to what fans likely picture when they think of the "Muslimgauze sound"), leaving 'Hammer & Sickle' an intriguing and valuable portrait of one of Jones' early side investigations. All tracks written, played, recorded and edited by Muslimgauze, 1983. Audio restoration by Radboud Mens, master and cut by Rashad Becker. Limited to 200 copies on black vinyl.

Moments (2lp)
"'Moments Remixes' began from a conversation with Jlin. We did an interview together for Talkhouse in fall of 2019, in season with the original 'Moments' release on Unseen Worlds. Her poignant and effusive dialogue sparked the inspiration for us to do a remix together. That organically evolved into a full project idea. Xiu Xiu did the second remix in January 2020, and before things continued further - the pandemic was upon us. During the course of the pandemic, it evolved more, and organically became a more focused project for the isolation and lack of in-person collaborative environments/performance halls. All of but one remix were completed by 2021, and then refined and curated further over the following (four) years. The highlighted dialogue across the album is how these sparse, melodic minimalism of piano and vibraphone could manifest in a diversity of experimental sub-genres: electronica, IDM, avant-rock, drone/ambient. The careful curation and illustrative collaborators elicit the transportive 'new moments' and permeable qualities of the core compositions, that discover uncharted life in this project." (Michael Vincent Waller, October 2023). Limited to 300 copies.

Fayazi, Bahareh -& Asareh Shekarchi-
Nasim-e Shahar
'Nasim-e Sahar' (The Breath of the Dawn) by Asareh Shekarchi (on tombak and avaz), and Bahareh Fayazi (on tar) is a reinterpretation of works by master Iranian singer Reza-Qoli Mirza Zelli (1906-1946). This recording features a variety of modal divisions of Iranian music with poetry that speaks of both earthly and mystical love stories. Sparse and powerful, 'Nasim-e Sahar' showcases the technical virtuosity and improvisational mastery of these two artists. By reinterpreting the masterpieces of a male singer, Bahareh and Asareh, two young women, promise the dawn of a new age in which women claim their rightful place in the history of Iranian music.
