Bassist ELDEE YOUNG and drummer ISAAC 'RED' HOLT spent the 1960's as RAMSEY LEWIS' rhythm section. By the time they recorded this soul-jazz/instrumental groove classic, YOUNG and HOLT were solid stone groove monsters, similar to CURTIS MAYFIELD's early 70's material.
