We Will Never Die
8th studio album by Yat-Kha, the project centered around the huge voice of charismatic singer Albert Kuvezin from the remote Russian republic of Tuva. Recorded after the 2019 European tour in krautrock legend Hans-Joachim Irmler's studios. On this album Kuvezin is accompanied by his long-term Tuvan friend and musical accomplice Sholban Mongush on igil (a bowed horsehair 2-string cello) and backing vocals. Some additional tracks were later recorded in Abakan, Khakassia in spring 2020. Includes covers of 'Solitude' by Black Sabbath and 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' by George Harrison.
