Mindstreams is a vocalized ambient bed of sound by JP Berreondo and Stefanie Naifeh. From opera to avant-garde, neo-cabaret to singing world music in 15 languages, Naifeh journeys through a colorful mosaic of music. She's a.o. known from the avant-garde, neo-cabaret band The Underthings. Squash And Biscuit is a Los Angeles-based husband/wife team featuring composers Shuwen Zhao and Brian Griffith. Their pieces serve as short investigations into the world between sound and music using found sounds, musical samples, instrument recordings and voice manipulation.
