James Van Buren started his career in 1956. Originally a drummer, he spent many years on the road with artists such as T. Bone Walker and Lou Rawls. In the early 1980's Van Buren founded his own JVB record label on which he released a couple of records. These two tracks are definitely the most obscure of his discography.
