Last copy. UNSOUL is the musical collaboration of seven young musicians from Berlin who driven by the noise of their hometown, decided to start a band in 2003. From the beginning they aimed to create heavy and contrastic compositions. UNSOUL invoke monumental style clashes and strange soundscapes in search of the ultimate heaviness. Although using Metal as the shaping force of their music UNSOUL transcend the borders of that gengre. ,Magnetic Mountain" is the long awaited first full length release of UNSOUL. The title refers to the soviet-russian city Magnitogorsk which was completely invented and build in the 1950s. As strange but yet fascinating as this city are the eleven compositions on ,Magnetic Mountain". Each one seems to follow ist own secret rules. UNSOUL confront their thrilling and dramatic chops of metal with the aesthetic of the human industrial age. The crackling of old grammophone players, detuned bar pianos and russian factory choirs merge with the intricate heaviness of death metal to a completey exciting sound collage.
