The quintet around bandleader Clive Osborne is surrounded by a mysterious image - very little concrete information can be found about the long-serving band, whose members have always been and still are on the road in numerous other formations of the British rock'n'roll and blues scene. The Surfin' Gorillas like to let some time pass between releases and gigs. Nevertheless, they are considered one of the best and most contemporary bands, following in the footsteps of genre pioneers such as Dick Dale, Link Wray, The Del-Tones and The Pyramids.
