Jack Starr's Burning Starr was created in 1985, one year after Jack recorded the solo album 'Out Of The Darkness', and two years after he left the band Virgin Steele which he founded in 1981. Burning Starr existed as a band from 1985 to 1990, and the band came back using that name in 2009, and recorded bunch of well received albums such as 'Defiance', 'Land Of The Dead' and 'Stand Your Ground'. The same titled album is the last one made by Burning Starr before they came back in 2009.
