This is the first release of JIN Vinyl Club who organizes adventurous and unique live concerts in the Nijmegen Galloway Studio for 40 m/f/x audiences, in which big names from jazz are combined with young talents, recorded live in one take and released on vinyl in a limited numbered edition of 300 pieces. Collectors' items in high quality pressings with unique artwork, produced by Sebastiaan van Bijlevelt. The first release is an immediate hit: The session crackles with tension and intimacy, in which a selection of standards as well as a number of improvisations are discussed, building a bridge between tradition and modern, but always warm, guitar improvisations that never go off the rails but always keep the dialogue going. Electrified stuff, from gentle conversations to rougher fun, where you as a listener are right on top of it, just like on that evening itself.
