After nearly two years, Okonski returns with 'Entrance Music,' a meditative, improvisation-driven album recorded with longtime collaborators Aaron Frazer and Michael Isvara "Ish" Montgomery. Inspired by artists like The Bad Plus and Gerald Clayton, the album drifts between jazz and ambient moods, capturing early morning stillness. Recorded at Terry Cole's Portage Lounge studio, his production plays a vital role in shaping its ethereal, nature-infused sound - a contrast to the grittier vibe of their 2023 debut 'Magnolia.'
