Jonas Mekas was a Lithuanian-American filmmaker, poet and artist who has been called "the godfather of American avant-garde cinema". It's no surprise that Jonas was also an incredible musician. He grew up always singing in his Lithuanian village and kept singing his whole life. Jonas eventually formed his own band, Now We Are Here, with Dalius Naujokaitis and Jonathon Haffner. This TRIPLE-LP set of live recordings captures some of the many magical memorable moments when Jonas Mekas was performing at Zebulon, Brooklyn!
