Masonna Vs. Bananamara/shinsen Na Clitoris
Masonna is one of the early pioneers of Japanoise and a true living legend. This CD is the combined re-release of two classic first-era Masonna albums: 'Masonna Vs. Bananamara,' his very first vinyl release (Vanilla Records/Japan 1989) and 'Shinsen Na Clitoris,' his very first CD release (Vanilla Records/Japan, 1990). Masonna's sound is true harsh Japanoise but always inspired by psychedelic music and mainly perfomred using distorted vocals, in a unique and distinctive way to perform Japanoise. Masonna is also well known fo his wild live performances which usually consist in damaging his equipment while jumping around and screaming. Concerts often last only few seconds/minutes...
