Reissue on vinyl of this tasteful 1972 soul LP by Barbara Mason, who had changed from a young and somewhat naive girl into a woman on this release. In other words, don't expect songs like the love-struck teen hits 'Oh How It Hurts', 'Girls Have Feelings' and 'Sad, Sad Girl'. No, the 'new' Barbara made the rules and set the ultimatums. The album's title track was written by Curtis Mayfield. Highly regarded by many, Barbara Mason is also known for her contributions to the scores of the cult Blaxploitation movies 'Sheba, Baby' and 'Gordon's War'.
