Lunar Vacation
Everything Matters, Everything's Fire
The band Lunar Vacation's home in Decatur, GA, is a reflection of their creative process_quirky, imperfect, and full of character. Sharing a single bathroom in their old, unrenovated house has fostered a deep trust among the five members, shaping their evolution as musicians and friends. This trust shines through on their new album, "Everything Matters, Everything's Fire". Unlike their polished 2021 release, "Inside Every Fig is a Dead Wasp", this record embraces experimentation and organic creativity. Inspired by artists like Yo La Tengo and Björk, the band leaned into imperfections, turning them into strengths. As guitarist Maggie Geeslin puts it, "We embraced mistakes; it made the work even better." The album's ethos: everything matters, everything's fire. Released on (Fire) red vinyl.
