This Music Got Soul/rock Steady

ROCKSTEADY at its best, this man has a great bariton voice. Born in Jamaica in 1947, got into the biz in 1965, became lead singer of the Dragonaires and in started his own record shop in Montego Bay in 1977. In the '80s he returned to his love of Gospel music and released a decade of albums. In 2014 mr. Hopeton passed away in Brooklyn. Fortunately here we have a Japanese pressing of this track, originally released in 1967 on the Merritone label.
