In Winter of 2009, Remy LBO (Remy LeBeau) dropped everything to move to a cabin in the middle of the wilderness. He created this album with just a few instruments and without the use of modern synths and effects. Using elements of '70s jazz and funk, he created 'Umpqua Fire' to really push the depths of modern instrumental music. Instrumental funk, for fans of Clutchy Hopkins, Madlib (YNQ), Heliocentrics.
