Originally released in 1967 by Luton's Summit Recordings, this super rare UK mod/beat single makes s welcome return to its original format. 'Near Me' is a superb atmospheric beater with a late mod flavour, saluting somewhat the Association's 'Along Comes Mary', whilst 'Hold On I'm Coming' is a raucous and thunderous cover of the Sam & Dave fave which wouldn't have sounded out of place on the flip side of the Mickey Finn's 'Garden Of My Mind'.
