Taking influences from space/psych rock and dream pop aesthetics, the musical approach of French producer Kartell's DOUBLE-LP 'Everything Is Here' embraces the fascination people from the '60s and '70s had for outer space, exotic locations, new technologies and science fiction. Nebulous textures and otherworldly sounds characteristic of space rock are infused throughout the album, while keeping a focus on making catchy songs, leaning on a minor-key groove and a pop yearning. Densely produced and cinematic, 'Everything Is Here' draws a truly living landscape where live bass, drums and guitars hold the line, evolving around hazy effects and synthesizer layers.
