The first solo album by Karl Jonas (of First Floor Power and Blood Music) is in fact a duo project... Together with Gilbert Johansson (A Gilbert Play) he recorded an unpredictable and deeply moving pop album. Sometimes the songs bring to mind bands like Yo la Tengo, Luna, Talk Talk and even Flash & The Pan. But make no mistake, this is highly original music by two creative minds from Sweden's experimental pop scene. The LP includes covers of 'Sugar Me' (a '70s hit for Lynsey de Paul) and Bill Fay's 'Be Not So Fearful' (a duet with Terre Roche from the legendary NYC-based trio The Roches).
