Here the great composer and arranger leads a first class "dance organization", a top-flight big band featuring the cream of NY Jazz musicians, including Clark Terry and Freddie Hubbard (trumpets), Curtis Fuller and Melba Liston (trombones), Phil Woods, Oliver Nelson and Sahib Shihab (saxes) and Stu Martin (drums).
