Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius De Moraes were two seminal figures in Brazilian music, two modernists whose work was a major influence for generations to come. 'Orfeu Da Conceiao' was originally a stage play in three acts by poet and lyricist De Moraes with music by Jobim. It premiered in 1956 in Rio de Janeiro. The music was originally released that same year on 10-inch, now it's availabe on CLEAR 12-INCH VINYL. This edition is limited to 300 copies.
