Finally a new (5th!) re-print of one of the most astonishing successes in Italian folk noir, the famous debut album by Ianva, originally released in 2005 and re-released in various formats and versions since! This fifth CD edition comes with the ORIGINAL tracklist of the first ever edition from 2005, but with a slightly different cover-design. Ianva's debut album depicts the imaginary romance of Maggiore (Army Major) Cesare Renzi and the chanteuse Elettra Stavros, based on the historical background of Gabriele d'Annunzio's occupation of the city of Fiume (today: Rijeka) 1918-1920, on the eve of the rise of fascism in Italy.
