Reissue of US psych Holy Grail from 1969! Killer Doorsy organ and fuzzed-out guitars, including all-time psychedelic classics like 'Colors,' 'Workshop' and 'Mind Machine.' Transplanted from Portland to the Sunset Strip, Hunger played at all the hip places (Whisky a Go Go, Cheetah, Kaleidoscope...), rubbing shoulders with bands like Hour Glass (pre-Allman Brothers), the Doors or Steppenwolf. In 1969 they released 'Strictly From Hunger' for the small Public label. Highly sought after, Guerssen is proud to present a straight reissue of such collectable album. Original artwork in hard cardboard sleeve + obi. Remastered sound. Includes insert with liner notes by Clark Faville and rare photos.
