Herin
Hiding In Plain Sight
After an eight-year absence, Tiles guitarist and songwriter Chris Herin returns with his debut solo-album. 'In Plain Sight' is a dark conceptual work about Herin's walk alongside his father's 10-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Musically, the CD combines distinctive prog and art rock influences that alternate from sophisticated orchestral arrangements and poly rhythmic complexity to cinematic soundscapes and ambitious guitar workouts. There are contributions from about 30 guest musicians, including Peter Frampton and members of a.o. Saga, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Jethro Tull and so on.
