The Haskels, a high-energy punk-pop band, emerged from the breakup of their original lineup, eventually releasing the sought-after Taking The City By Storm EP in 1981. They played a key role in Milwaukee's punk scene, helping establish the Starship club and supporting bands like Die Kreuzen and Violent Femmes. This release compiles 14 rare and unreleased tracks from the Splunge Archives, including demos, live recordings, and a remastered version of their EP. Co-released with Splunge Communications, it captures the raw energy and sharp songwriting that made The Haskels a cult favorite.
