Originally released in 1977 and now back on vinyl, 'The Belle Album' is one of the last in a string of secular r&b recordings made by Green, who had recently converted to Christianity and had been ordained as a pastor. Soon after the release of 'The Belle Album' he began creating gospel records exclusively.
