The Gospel Pimps are the Alter Ego of Germanys well Known and Respected THE JUKE JOINT PIMPS, instead of focusing themselves to the Rawside of Chicagos Rhythm n Blues are from the late 40s early 50s the Gospel Pimps got inspired by the RAW POWER of Early Black Louisiana Gospel Singing Groups , they even invited a gospel choir into the Studio to record some of the songs.. the band got inspired as well trough the PEACOCK and the SAVOY catalogue bands such as THE STAPLE SINGERS , FIVE BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA or even the early GOLDEN GATE QUARTET are big influence in their recordings .
