Due to the continuously growing interest in The Flight Of Sleipnir and the unavailability of their extremely limited self-released EPs "Wisdom Calls For Sacrifice" and "Winter Solstice II", it was decided to give all fans the chance to obtain the old material in a proper format. Namely, the limited "Ascension" A5-DigiCD and LP, which include liner notes for each of the old songs, as well as a previously unreleased cover of Pentagrams "Be Forewarned" and a rare live version of "Algiz", performed by David & Clay with the help of their live members, and quite a bit different from the album version. Here's a release that shows the honest beginnings of a band that set out to combine the Viking theme with classic Doom Metal and Progressive Rock like no other, and is gaining new fans on a daily basis, people who are excited to find another gem in all the rubble. And while you momentarily glance into the past and enjoy their early efforts, David & Clay are already finishing up their monumental fourth full length opus "Saga", to be released soon via Eyes Like Snow.
