'Ratsmodee' is the first Dutch-sung album by Jaap Elzenga. This compilation of songs is the result of a musical collaboration between Jaap and Jurgen Eissink. An exchange of ideas, text and music. The songs were recorded largely in a sea-container in Amsterdam-Noord and in an old garage in Hengelo. Musical friends Henk-Jan Hoekjen, Wim Elzinga, Adri Karsenberg, Jeroen Kruijs, Damian Traca en Rika Maja were so kind to dress up the songs. In a musically parallel universe Jaap is Ottoboy, the oneman trashband and guitarist in Andre Manuel's Dancing Dollekamp.
