Eleven Pond was formed in 1986, and they released one postpunk/synth pop/darkwave LP titled 'Bas Relief'. Shortly after recording songs for a second LP entitled 'Assemblage', the band split up and the tapes were put on the shelf. Both 'Bas Relief' and 'Assemblage' were re-released by Dark Entries in 2009. Originally released as a 10-track album in 2019 on CDr by the band, Young & Cold choose the best 8 tracks for this release on vinyl In 2020. The album comes with different artwork, and includes 'Venus in Shells', a re-interpretation of Velvet Underground's 'Venus in Furs'.
