Einsturzende Neubauten
Rampen (apm: Alien Pop Music) (2lp/deluxe)
Legendary German artistic institution Einstürzende Neubauten are entering their 44th year of existence, and this 2024 album follows 4 years after their previous effort 'Alles In Allem,' released in the middle of worldwide pandemia (May 15, 2020). 'Rampen (APM: Alien Pop Music)' is pop music for parallel universes and in-between worlds - for hyperspaces and interzones. It is microcosmic and intergalactic at the same time. It's a demi-sophisticated claim outside of all physical laws, with which EN enter a stylistic no man's land between the past and future. Theres a return to the roots on one side, while a new art form emerges on the other from powerful eruptions of noise encountering cryptic, often fragmentary lyrics: Popular music for aliens and outcasts. Anti-pop has become alien pop. Outlandish. Spun like a cocoon. Unheard. Sonus inauditus. The deluxe edition comes on heavy 180gr yellow double vinyl. The cover features special embossing and numbering. Includes printed inner sleeves, poster and 5 photo cards of the band members.
