A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Amy Duncan is a classically trained doublebass player. But about a year ago, she decided to make singing and songwriting a priority, eventually crafting and recording the songs that make up Pilgrimage -- her very first album. With melodies as haunting and atmospheric as the misty Scottish highlands at dawn, Amy Duncan's voice captivates and charms, well complimented by the simple arrangements of guitar, piano and upright bass.
