Dirty Sidewalks don't just take sonic cues from the fuzzy haze of The Jesus & Mary Chain, the honed pop songcraft of Oasis, or the rich vocal colours of The Beach Boys, like these bands they keep it in the family too. Formed in 2010 by Erik Foster, older brother Evan Foster (of The Boss Martians and currently The Sonics) and longtime friend Evan O'Neil, they play anthemic tunes informed equally by '80s college rock, '90s Britpop and '60s harmonies.
