Australian multi-instrumentalist David Gravolin (who brought you ORB, The Frowning Clouds, Hierophants, P.P. Rebel, Cereal Killer) returns with the second cassette for his solo project Dave. Following up on 2019's 'Demo' tape, this release is aptly titled 'Dave II' and spans a 25 minute array of krautrock, '60s psychedelia and hip hop beats. Largely but not entirely instrumental; the second track 'Footfalls' features vocals from Caitlyn Lesiuk, whilst Dave himself appears via his vocoder on tracks like 'Fall In Line' and 'Talk To Meeka.' 'Dave II' could make for the perfect film soundtrack, it could sit in the background of any great skate movie, it could even surface as ideas from a lost Kraftwerk record - especially towards the end of side A. Dave is one of a kind musician. 'Dave II' is a one of a kind release - it sounds very unlike any other music currently coming out. Limited run of 150 cassettes on Anti Fade Records.
