Before Kevin Coyne moved from England to his new home in Nuremberg and got his depression and alcohol problems under control, he recorded 'Legless In Manila'. Featuring Steve Lamb (bass), David Sheen (drums) and Peter Hope-Evans on harmonics. On the album 'Knocking On Your Brain', released in 1997, he was accompanied by top German musicians such as Ali Neander (Rodgau Monotones), Tom Liwa (Flowerpornoes), Ralf Gustke (Gianna Nannini) and Willy Wagner (Rio Reiser Band). Special guest is Gary Lucas (Captain Beefheart, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Lou Reed) on slide guitar.
