Corde Oblique's eight studio album is being released exactly on the day of their 20th project anniversary (2005-2025) and was inspired by the omonymous Bergman's movie 'Cries And Whispers' (1972). For this masterpiece of an album, Corde Oblique decided to split it in two parts: Volume 1 ('Cries') featuring the more post-metal/folkgaze inspired tracks and Volume 2 ('Whispers') for the classic ethereal/post-folk songs.
