Where Were U/never Alone

Limited to 250 copies, this is a previously unreleased punk gem from Manchester-based band The Change, active on the punk scene in the late '70s. They recorded four tracks at the legendary Cargo Studios in Rochdale in 1979, but having just left school the band could not afford to pay the pressing costs. The tracks have been mastered from the only surving cassette that has been left forgotten for the last 35 years. The A-Side is reminiscent of early Buzzcocks and the flip sounds musically like early Joy Division. The sleeve has been designed as an old style foldover punk sleeve.
