Many of you will know Johny Brown as the long-time leader of band Og Holy Joy, whose quasi-industrial beginnings rapidly developed into ragged-but-beautiful glory to near chart hits and then a string of marvelous lengthy epics questioning the nature of everything under the sun. Johny's solo-release 'Gut Feels' captures a little of all of that, but it's some beguiling musing on the glorious and lost early days of punk, youthful discovery and later attempts to recapture that magic.
