The Besnard Lakes are a Canadian indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Formed in 2003 by the husband and wife team of Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas. They create a distinct and dreamy headspace, an enigmatic and somehow familiar placelessness, influenced by f.i. '60s girl groups, Beach Boys-like harmonies and My Bloody Valentinesque tidal waves. This is their 2013 album.
