Bare, Bobby -& Bill Parsons-

Buddies With The Blues

In the late 50s, future Country Music star, Bobby Bare had many failed attempts to sell when he signed with Capitol Records. Just before he was drafted into the Army, he wrote a song called 'The All American Boy' and did a demo for his friend, Bill Parsons. In 1959 Fraternity Records released the original demo recorded by Bare but it was credited to Parsons and would became the second-biggest single in the U.S. TRACKS: 1.
