Chicago blues legend Eddie Boyd left a lasting impression on Finnish blues enthusiasts since he lived in Helsinki from 1970 until his death in 1994. In order to honor him, acclaimed Finnish blues musician Pepe Ahlqvist returned to the studio, together with well known keyboardist Jukka Gustavson and an accompanying line-up consisting of top musicians. The result, 'Stovall, Coahoma - A Tribute To Eddie Boyd', features 10 songs from Boyd's repertoire, plus the newly written title song of the album.
