For the very first time on vinyl a mandatory compilation with both rarities and unreleased tracks, showcasing their second line up! At the end of January 1971 lead vocalist Linda Hoyle and organist Lynton Naiff left Affinity, instead of going separate ways, the other three members recruited vocalist Vivienne McAuliffe (Principal Edwards Magic Theatre) and ex-Tornados keyboardist Dave Watts. Reminiscent at times of Sandy Denny, Vivienne's voice was a natural addiction to the new incarnation of the band, focusing on a more folksy direction.

Some will know this moment: suddenly everything is clear. When Lulu (Electric Moon) and Oli (ex-Urlaub in Polen) bump into each other at a concert in the legendary Vortex Surfer music club in Siegen, they both know that same evening: We are a band. They tell Falko, who has just destroyed the club with his instrumental post-metal band Sarkh. Just a few months later, the first songs were arranged during the first rehearsals - fragments of poetry and word play written by Oli, melodic
lines and ideas that were taken up by the band and subsidized and refined on the respective instruments. The debut 'White Clouds' was created in less than a year - recorded, mixed and mastered in Falko's underground recording studio Institut Für
Angewandten Krach. During that time, the band attends one of the last concerts of the wonderful noise post-math rock band Shellac in Amsterdam. All three are equally deeply impressed and moved by this show and incorporate Steve Albini's spirit into their debut, which they ultimately dedicated to him. Added to this is their very own drift - pain and hope, the unconditional will of rock'n'roll, depth and steep flight, highly dynamic, playful, hypnotic-driving passages and repeated melodies with resonance, as well as the connection between the three musicians, promise a debut and live concerts with a yeah factor.

DOVERS - WE'RE NOT JUST ANYBODY
The Dovers from Santa Barbara, California! Thee legendary mid-sixties folk-punk-psych masters' singles collection finally sees an upgraded reissue. Taken from the original tapes used in 2001, all the singles A & B sides have been carefully mastered for a superior audiophile experience. This gatefold edition on 12" will provide extensive and updated liner notes besides the awesome research done by worldwide garage expert #1, Mike Markesich who made it all possible since day one, interviewing the members of these extremely rare but sough-after tracks by garage, folk and psych collectors worldwide. The master tapes assembled by garage collector Mark Taylor have been originally restored at Erik Lindgren's Sounds Interesting studios and now they've taken to Forward Analog Studios to achieve thee best sounding source available so far. While in the past decade the limited pressing of 500 copies have been authorized by the band, a few years ago a lame bootleg of this collection appeared on the US market, making its price circulating at 100$ and more. Since then at Misty Lane they've tried a few upgrades but nothing sounded as good as today's result. When a team of experts gather in a unique studio like the Forward studios you can bet it will bring unexpected, awesome result. This is what happened! And so there is a new release on the way, on 12" this time (a few customers during the past 25 years have criticized the original 10" format, so there you go...). Misty Lane has also given a slightly different graphic twist: a lighter design but at the same time richer in information. A limited edition of only 150 numbered copies will be pressed, so be sure to pre-order yours now. Distributors will probably ignore this release so it'd be useless to press more. Also useless to say the price of this release is going to stop the rush that has been on Discogs in recent years. Anyway you can always look for the original singles of this fantastic band, provided that you have a few tens of thousands of dollars! Only a handful available, here, so first come, first served!

Jewelled Moon only got back together in the old line-up at the beginning of 2020. The origins of these four Tübingen guys, however, go back a few months. Summer 1990, and the burgeoning alternative music scene. The band developed their own, unmistakable style from this. However, they split up in 1996 - but they never lost sight of each other: the musicians kept coming together in different line-ups, up to the present day. They used the two pandemic years for their reunion debut album 'New Sun Rising.' Under the Clostridium Records label, another studio album, 'Electric Waters, is now released on vinyl which underlines the creative output of the band in the four-person line-up of organ/Rhodes, guitar/vocals, drums and bass. Oresund Space Collective (OSC), formed in 2004, is a totally improvising Scandinavian space rock band and has been releasing albums since 2006. The band has played concerts and festivals all over Europe. Their music is quite diverse and influenced by the ever-changing line up in the collective. In 2014, OSC assembled an amazing line up of clever and inspired musicians to have a few days of jams in the studio. Hasse (Tangle Edge) came down from Norway, Jonathan, KG, Mathias and Alex came down from Stockholm. Jonathan (Camper Van Beethoven, Sista Maj) had been playing with OSC for a while and KG (ex-Siena Root, Palace On Wheels) had joined them before in the studio. Mathias (My Brother The Wind) had also played live with OSC before (on bass) and was a good friend of the band. Dr Space had been a big fan and friend with the guys in Gösta Berlings Saga for a few years and thought their drummer Alex would be a great fit. Jonas (Agusa) and Mats came over the bridge from Malmö! 'Relaxing In The Himalayas' was the first piece of music that the band recorded together. This was one long relaxing jam but very refreshing and inspiring. It was previously released on CD as an OSC-Bandcamp subscriber release in 2021. Edition of 170 copies on black vinyl.

DIE BOSLINGE - DEMO 1980
Die Böslinge were one of the first punkbands in Austria, founded by Erwin, Harry and Peter in 1979 and played at all punk places in Vienna back then, like Amerlinghaus, Gaga, Steinhof (Mental Ward), Arena, etc. Their only output was a self released 7" single, one of the rarest punk records from Austria, limited to only 200 copies, a solid 1.5K record - if it ever pops up anywhere... Die Böslinge disbanded right after this initial release in 1981, but before working on the songs that appeared on the single they recorded songs on a so called "demo." Bachelor Records got their hands on this cassette and sent it to Eric Brady to master the tracks - so here they are, the punk 'Demo 1980,' rough but straight to your face, direct, simple and aggressive songs (mostly) sung in Viennese dialect.

Cynic was formed in Miami, Florida by Paul Masvidal and Sean Reinert in 1987, blending elements of progressive rock, alternative, and metal. Their third full length (from 2014) offering 'Kindly Bent To Free Us' is the final Cynic album to feature original drummer Sean Reinert and long time member Sean Malone on bass, who both passed away in 2020. Originally released on a 2LP version and mastered at 45rpm, Svart Records in cooperation with Cynic now proudly present the single LP edition of the album including the bonus track 'Earth Is My Witness' for the first time on vinyl and a booklet with liner notes by Martin Popoff, lyrics, notation to the song 'Kindly Bent To Free Us,' and more.

Cynic was formed in Miami, Florida by Paul Masvidal and Sean Reinert in 1987, blending elements of progressive rock, alternative, and metal. Their third full length (from 2014) offering 'Kindly Bent To Free Us' is the final Cynic album to feature original drummer Sean Reinert and long time member Sean Malone on bass, who both passed away in 2020. Originally released on a 2LP version and mastered at 45rpm, Svart Records in cooperation with Cynic now proudly present the single LP edition of the album including the bonus track 'Earth Is My Witness' for the first time on vinyl and a booklet with liner notes by Martin Popoff, lyrics, notation to the song 'Kindly Bent To Free Us,' and more. Edition on yellow/black smoke vinyl.

Another fine out-of-print album from 1984 from the Japanese bassist/keyboardist. This one is mellow and quite easy to get into. All music composed by Yoshio Suzuki. Suzuki plays all the instruments on tracks 3-10. Musicians: Yoshio Suzuki (all tracks): acoustic and electric pianos, synthesizers, upright and electric bass, (also Linn drum machine on tracks 3-10). On tracks 1 and 2 only: Toshihiko Inoue: soprano saxophone, Kazumasa Akiyama: electric guitar, Jun Saitoh: percussion, Hideo Yamaki: Simmons drums, Nobuhiko Nakayama: synthesizer and Linn drum programming.
